$4.9 MILLION ACQUISITION

UNITED CAPITAL EXPANDS PORTFOLIO WITH $4.9 MILLION ACQUISITION OF PORT CHARLOTTE MEDICAL OFFICE BUILDING.

United Capital, an owner and operator of commercial properties across Florida, today announced the acquisition of a 2.8-acre site featuring a 12,216-square-foot medical office building situated at 22395 Edgewater Dr. in Port Charlotte, FL. The acquisition was completed through a 1031 Exchange, with Adam J. Tiktin and Sylvia Tiktin of United Capital securing the property for $4.89 million from Bayshore Partnership, LLP.

In tandem with this acquisition, Tiktin sold a .71-acre property featuring a 15,249-square-foot former Aaron’s retailer at 1425 S. Woodland Blvd. in Deland, FL, for $1 million. The buyer was Purple Door Furniture. Monte Mitchell of Forness Properties served as broker for United Capital.

As Managing Principal and Chair of United Capital’s Investment Committee, Tiktin helps direct the strategic growth of the firm overseeing its investment business, including acquisitions and development.
